Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering and construction team responsible for developing, integrating, and delivering engineering solutions for complex electrical projects within the mission‑critical sector. This role involves producing a wide range of project deliverables, including drawings, specifications, product selection, installation sequence planning, and commissioning testing/commissioning scripts.

Familiarity with NEC, NESC, IEEE, IEC, and local building codes.
Develop and produce conceptual design to construction documents, detailed equipment layout, single and three-line diagrams, grounding, and feeder routing with limited supervision by Senior Engineers, including the design or integration of the following:
- Normal power medium and low voltage distribution systems
- Emergency power generation and distribution systems, including UPS
- Coordinate device locations with other trades, including mechanical, plumbing, or other (Architectural, Lab, Medical, Kitchen, etc.), including interpreting equipment requirements
- Project specifications for all equipment and installation methods
- Ability to design control wiring diagram and electrical interlocks schemes for protecting electrical equipment.
- Able to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power applications.
- Able to perform voltage drop calculations, calculate raceway and cable tray fill.
- Properly size equipment, including, but not limited to switchboards, UPS and generator systems, distribution panelboards and motor control center loading.
- Develop specifications and installation details of construction materials and equipment.
- Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements to produce all electrical deliverables.
- Develop and create Method of Procedures (MOP), and Sequence of Operations (SOP) to support construction execution effort
Documentation of design work in AutoCAD and REVIT in 2D and 3D platforms
Provide support of construction activities, including but not limited to, responses to Requests for Information, review of project equipment submittals, and technical support of operations management.
Research, prototype, and develop emerging technologies to implement the latest and best-in-bread capabilities to meet the customers’ emerging needs.
Manage your time effectively and support multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications:

ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher required with 5+ years of experience.
5+ Years of Power/Electrical Engineering and UPS system design
