Job Summary

Denali Drywall is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Estimator with construction experience to join our growing team in the Phoenix metro area.

This position is ideal for someone who is self-driven, organized, and looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. The right candidate will be comfortable reading construction plans, estimating, project coordination, communication with general contractors, and managing project details from bid through completion.

We specialize in commercial and multifamily drywall projects and are looking for someone who can help support our growth while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate drywall estimates for commercial and multifamily projects.

Review plans, specifications, addendums, and bid documents.

Perform material takeoffs and quantity counts.

Prepare and submit proposals to general contractors.

Communicate with general contractors, suppliers, field crews, and internal team members.

Assist with project buyout, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.

Track project changes, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

Attend project meetings when nedded

Maintain strong attention to detail throughout estimating and pre-construction.

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications required.

Construction experience required.

Experience with multifamily or commercial projects is a strong plus.

Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.

Estimating or project management experience preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Basic computer skills required.

Experience with estimating software, takeoff software, or construction management software is a plus.
