Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Living Home Manager to lead and oversee daily operations within our assisted living community. This role is vital in ensuring residents receive exceptional care, fostering a warm and welcoming environment, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in senior and long-term care, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents. As an integral part of our team, you will coordinate care plans, supervise staff, manage budgets, and promote a safe, respectful community where residents thrive.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Supervise and support caregiving staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to uphold high standards of resident care.
Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to healthcare protocols in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Manage budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to maintain financial health of the community.
Foster positive relationships with residents’ families, providing updates on care progress and addressing concerns proactively.
Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, incident reports, staffing records, and regulatory compliance.

Skills

Extensive experience in assisted living environments or nursing homes with a focus on senior care and memory support.
Proven leadership skills with supervisory experience in group homes or retirement communities.
Strong understanding of care plans development for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and healthcare regulations governing long-term care facilities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and operational tasks efficiently.
Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to engage residents, families, and staff effectively.
Familiarity with home & community care practices, social work principles, and financial acumen related to healthcare management.
