Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Banquet Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences during events, ensuring seamless service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Ideal candidates will have a background in the food industry, with experience in catering, banquet service, or restaurant settings. A strong focus on guest relations and hospitality will help create memorable occasions for our guests.

Duties

Serve food and beverages to guests at banquets, receptions, and special events with professionalism and efficiency
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as a bartender, adhering to all safety and legal standards
Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, linens, and tableware
Buss tables promptly during events to maintain cleanliness and guest comfort
Assist with food preparation and presentation when needed, ensuring food safety standards are met
Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any needs or concerns promptly
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar stations and service areas
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service
Support event staff in various roles such as serving, clearing tables, or assisting with catering logistics as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry, catering, or banquet service
Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Experience in bartending or beverage service is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for events
Prior experience in hotel or restaurant settings is a plus
Food preparation skills or culinary experience are advantageous but not required
