Full Job Description

Job: Staff Accountant (AP/AR)

Location: San Mateo, CA

Hourly Pay: $40 - $45 / hour depending on experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Our heath-tech client is looking for a dynamic Staff Accountant to join the team. This is a multi-entity environment with multiple currencies. This is a contract role that will run for three months with the possibility to extend.

Job Description:

Process end-to-end Accounts Payable, including coding, approvals, and payments.
Handle reconciliations for both vendor statements (AP) and bank deposits (AR).
Maintain accurate records and update reporting requirements, as needed.
Monitor payment schedules (AP) and aging reports (AR).
Work cross functionally with various teams to meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with external vendors and internal employees to resolve issues as they arise.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and exposure to month-end responsibilities.
Experience working with large/midsize ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Intacct, or similar).
Solid Excel stills and experience working with high-volume data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
