Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

Cache River Mill & MetalWorks is seeking an experienced, dependable Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our accounting department. This is a full-time, in-person position that will work closely with and provide day-to-day support to our Controller.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, and experienced in general bookkeeping and accounting procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

* Enter and review invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions

* Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts

* Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reviews

* Maintain organized and accurate accounting records

* Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions

* Assist the Controller with accounting projects and day-to-day departmental needs

* Provide general bookkeeping, administrative, and office support as needed

* Help identify discrepancies and ensure financial information is complete and accurate

Qualifications

* At least three years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

* Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills

* Ability to handle confidential financial and company information professionally

* Comfortable working independently while also supporting a team

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and general office technology

Experience working in manufacturing, construction, architectural millwork, or a project-based accounting environment is helpful but not required.

Position Details

* Full-time position

* Monday through Friday

* In-person at Cache River Mill & MetalWorks

* North Little Rock, Arkansas

* Reports to and works directly with the Controller

Cache River Mill & MetalWorks is a growing custom architectural millwork and metalwork company serving commercial and residential clients. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accurate work, follows through on responsibilities, and wants to become a dependable part of our accounting team.

Qualified applicants should submit a résumé along with a brief summary of their bookkeeping and accounting experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
