What You’ll Do

Process and record incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Responsible for customer billing, including credit card payment capture, invoicing, and reconciliation of sales orders
Monitor and manage customer accounts with terms, following up on outstanding balances with professionalism and persistence.
Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve billing inquiries.
Prepare and maintain detailed reports related to accounts receivable activities.
Reconcile discrepancies and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve. Anticipate issues and escalate to controller and company executives before
problems arise.
Assist with process improvements within the finance & accounting team.
Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all financial transactions.
Support the finance & accounting department with additional accounting tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP standards.
Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software.
Friendly personality and excellent phone communication skills—you can effectively discuss payments while maintaining positive customer relationships
Highly organized and detail-oriented
A problem-solver with a process improvement mindset, always looking for ways to streamline workflows.
