Full Job Description

Office Manager / Practice Administrator

We are a busy, well-established dental practice seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Office Manager / Practice Administrator to join our team. This leadership role is essential to the financial health and daily operations of the practice. You will work closely with our front desk receptionist, focusing primarily on practice administration, treatment coordination, and revenue cycle management while supporting front desk operations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Present and coordinate treatment plans with patients
Manage insurance claim posting, follow-up, and appeals
Verify insurance benefits and coordinate patient coverage
Monitor patient account balances and oversee monthly billing
Help improve practice efficiency, collections, and overall growth
Track accounts receivable and resolve outstanding insurance and patient balances
Maintain accurate financial and patient records
Identify opportunities to improve administrative workflows and patient experience

Secondary Responsibilities

Assist with answering incoming phone calls as needed
Support patient check-in and check-out during busy times
Collect same-day co-pays and outstanding balances
Confirm appointments and communicate with patients by phone, text, and email
Provide front desk support when the receptionist is unavailable or additional assistance is needed

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of dental office management, treatment coordinating, or dental front desk experience required
Strong understanding of dental insurance, claims processing, and treatment planning
Experience with insurance appeals and accounts receivable is highly preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple responsibilities
Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude
Dependable, accountable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of service

Position Details

Full-time or Part-time (based on experience and practice needs)
