Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services, with a focus on customer relationship management and loan processing. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, a deep understanding of credit analysis, and the ability to manage contracts effectively. The Director of Finance will be instrumental in driving financial performance and ensuring compliance with TILA regulations while fostering a culture of excellence within the finance team.

Duties

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Manage customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention, leveraging upselling opportunities where appropriate.
Provide leadership in loan processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.
Negotiate terms of contracts with clients and vendors to secure favorable outcomes for the organization.
Utilize financial software for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes.
Collaborate with sales teams to support automobile sales initiatives through effective financing solutions.
Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Train and mentor finance staff on best practices in financial management and customer service.

Experience

Proven experience in financial services or related fields, with a strong emphasis on customer relationship management.
Previous experience as a loan officer or in dealership finance is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability in negotiation and closing deals effectively.
Proficient in basic math skills and 10 key typing for accurate data entry and analysis.
Familiarity with title processing, contracts, and TILA regulations is essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data for strategic decision-making.
