Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you'll be instrumental in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and supporting the overall flow of meal service. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will help deliver delicious experiences to our guests every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold food safety standards
Support meal preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering events
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and effective communication during busy periods
Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality control throughout the production process
must be able to work under pressure

Qualifications

minimum 3 years Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food industry best practices
Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for efficient ingredient prep
Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff and supporting team efforts
Experience with catering and gatherings;
genuine passion for culinary arts is essential
