Job Summary

We are seeking an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrator to join our team in Randolph, VT. The ideal candidate will primarily own our Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections workflows, ensuring accurate client invoicing and timely payment collection. This role also provides essential support for day-to-day office operations and general administrative functions.

Primary Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable: Prepare, verify, and issue accurate customer invoices and billing statements.
Collections Management: Monitor aging AR reports, make proactive collection calls, send payment reminders, and professionally resolve billing discrepancies with contractors and clients.
Payment Processing: Record incoming checks, credit card payments, and electronic funds transfers into the accounting system.
General Office Support: Answer phone calls, greet occasional visitors, distribute mail, and assist management with general clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, office administration, or accounts receivable/collections is preferred.
Software Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, respectful approach to collection calls.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and mathematical skills with a proven track record of accuracy.
Dependability: Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and work independently.

Schedule

Part-time hours (Schedule details can be discussed during the interview to find a mutually agreeable arrangement).

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
