Full Job Description

Senior Fund Accountant

About Olive Partners Management

Based in Palo Alto, Olive Partners Management (“OPM” or the “Firm”) is the U.S. alternative investment multifamily office affiliate of one of largest independent wealth and asset manager in Asia. Olive US currently manages approximately $1.6 billion in AUM with a primary focus on venture capital investments across growth-stage technology and innovation sectors. This role reports to the CFO of OPM. It is a hands-on, high-impact position suited to a self-starter who thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and can operate with a high degree of independence while maintaining rigorous institutional standards.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Liaise with fund administrator to process fund capital transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, fund level gate and investor level gate
Manage cash flow and liquidity cycle for the open-ended funds and properly calculate the redemption schedule from underlying Funds
Review monthly NAV package prepared by fund administrator and update the investor allocation schedule
Point person for open-ended funds audit and tax related tasks
Assist in maintaining investor relations and communications in our CRM system.
Communicate with the Sales Team regarding investors’ financial/operational matters and any KYC requirements.
Be responsible for expense allocation and inter-company settlements; point person to handle any AP tasks.
Prepare support and documentation for outside auditors, tax advisors, custodian banks, etc.
Organize operation/accounting/compliance records and document accordingly for audit trials.
Other department/firm-wide projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Min Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from creditable/reputable universities with a concentration in accounting, finance, or economics.
Must have 5 years in accounting, auditing or accounting related experience; experience with Hedge Fund or Fund of Hedge Funds experience
Must have open-ended fund accounting experience, including NAV calculation, subscription/redemption processing, and investor allocations
Must have strong attention to detail and good business sense.
Must be self-motivated and proactive with a high level of operational and accounting efficiency, with the ability to multi-task and balance priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Top-notch business ethics and ability to maintain a positive and professional composure and attitude under pressure.
The role requires fluency in oral and written Chinese, as it is a business necessity for this position, which requires communication with Chinese speaking investors and business partners.
Must have US work authorizations.
Experience with broker/dealer reporting/filing would be a plus.
