Full Job Description

Overview
Job Summary

We are seeking a degreed Accountant to join our team in Oxnard. This role will assist in the monthly closing process, preparing and reviewing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This person will also assist in general office duties, to include A/R, A/P, sales tax filings, related tasks, and general office tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-pace environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

- Help prepare and review bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.

- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP.

- Identify and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency.

- Sales tax filings, required vendor filings, and other duties as assigned.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate transaction recording.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

- 3-5 years of accounting experience.

- Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, graphs, and advanced formulas).

- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 DOE
