Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure adherence to safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality output, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a safe, compliant work environment. Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the production process to meet quality, safety, and efficiency goals
Implement and uphold safety standards in production areas, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Manage staffing schedules, assign tasks, and motivate team members to achieve operational targets
Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime
Enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote a safety-first culture among staff
Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for quality assurance
Oversee inventory levels, raw material usage, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize resource utilization
Lead continuous improvement projects by analyzing production metrics and implementing process enhancements
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product standards and resolve any production discrepancies

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing or production management within a fast-paced environment
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting procedures
Familiarity with safety standards in production settings, including PPE use and hazard mitigation strategies
Knowledge of GMP regulations applicable to manufacturing processes
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative work environment
Experience managing heavy lifting operations safely and efficiently is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
