Full Job Description

Director of Business Operations

Greenwich Street Aesthetics is a premier plastic surgery center in downtown NYC. Founded by Drs Oren Tepper and Evan Garfein, Greenwich Street Aesthetics serve as both a dedicated office space ("Greenwich Street 497") and surgical facility ("Greenwich Street Surgical") for top plastic surgeons.

The Director of Business Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational functions at Greenwich Street Surgical. This role ensures efficient workflows, financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a high-performing infrastructure across various departments. The Director will lead initiatives that optimize performance, support growth, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

Previous experience in a plastic surgery setting, or related medical specialty, is required.

Key Responsibilities
Financial & Accounting Oversight

Oversee accounting operations including collections reporting, bank reconciliations, and receipt documentation
Monitor reimbursement processes and ensure timely and accurate revenue cycle management
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and reduce operational waste

Human Resources & Payroll

Supervise HR and payroll functions, ensuring compliance with all labor laws and internal policies
Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel records
Manage and approve time-off requests and staffing allocations
Support leadership in performance management and organizational development initiatives

Facilities & Operations Management

Ensure ongoing facility upkeep, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
Oversee vendor relationships related to building operations and services
Implement systems to maintain a high-end, safe, and efficient working environment
Coordinate operational logistics to support clinical and administrative teams

Supply Chain & Vendor Management

Oversee supply management, including procurement, inventory tracking, and cost control
Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure quality service and favorable pricing
Maintain strong vendor relationships to support operational continuity

Credentialing & Compliance

Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider documentation

Strategic Partnerships & JV Oversight

Oversee operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Act as a liaison between stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships and operational efficiency
Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth within joint ventures

Operational Leadership & Process Improvement

Evaluate current workflows, systems, and processes to identify inefficiencies
Implement best practices to improve productivity and service delivery
Develop and track KPIs across departments
Lead cross-functional initiatives to support organizational growth

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
