About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Front Desk / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is the face of our business and plays a key role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

The ideal candidate is friendly yet professional, enjoys working with people, communicates confidently, and can remain calm and solutions-oriented in challenging situations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy staying organized, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and courtesy.
Assist customers with starting, renewing, transferring, and closing storage leases.
Process payments accurately and maintain detailed records.
Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and collect late payments in a professional manner.
Resolve customer concerns and de-escalate difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
Maintain organized customer files and office records.
Perform general administrative and clerical duties.
Coordinate daily office operations and communicate with other team members.
Assist with communicating work assignments for dockhands and help ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Support management with additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Comfortable handling financial transactions accurately and responsibly.
Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
Confident handling difficult conversations and resolving customer issues.
Proficient with computers and able to learn new software quickly.
Previous administrative, front desk, office, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
