About Pinewood Dentistry and Implants

Pinewood Dentistry and Implants is a privately owned, comprehensive dental practice with locations in Sandy Springs and Cumming.

We combine advanced technology with thoughtful, relationship-based care. Our services include comprehensive general dentistry, same-day CEREC restorations, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, airway-focused treatment, and complex restorative care.

We believe in understanding why dental problems occur—not simply repairing the next thing that breaks. We value quality, professionalism, attention to detail, and doing what is right for the patient.

We are not trying to see the greatest possible number of patients each day. We want the office to run smoothly, the team to communicate well, and every patient to feel welcomed, informed, and cared for.

About the Position

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Front Office Coordinator for our growing Sandy Springs office, located near Northside Hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, and takes pride in helping a busy office stay organized.

Previous dental-office experience is helpful, but it is not required for an exceptional candidate with experience in customer service, hospitality, banking, healthcare, scheduling, or another patient-facing environment.

The right person will receive training and have opportunities to grow into additional responsibilities, including insurance coordination, treatment coordination, front-office leadership, and potentially location management as our Sandy Springs office continues to expand.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

Greeting patients and creating a welcoming office environment
Answering phones and responding to patient questions
Scheduling new patients, treatment, and continuing-care appointments
Checking patients in and confirming that their information is accurate
Checking patients out and collecting payments
Reviewing estimated patient portions and copayments
Confirming appointments and helping maintain a productive schedule
Following up with overdue patients, broken appointments, and unscheduled treatment
Helping patients understand what to expect at upcoming visits
Communicating effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and other front-office team members
Assisting with insurance verification and benefit information
Maintaining accurate patient information within the practice-management system
Helping solve day-to-day scheduling and patient-service concerns
Supporting the front-office team wherever needed

Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do
Interested in growing professionally within the practice
Able to work well as part of a team

Experience answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, or working in a customer-facing role is preferred.

**Dental office experience is preferred**

A college degree is not required but is preferred.

Schedule

Monday: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with lunch from 1:00–2:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., three Fridays per month

Our office is currently located at 5555 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Suite 140 Atlanta GA 30342. We are building a beautiful, larger facility at 775 Johnson Ferry Rd, Atlanta GA 30342 and will be moving in before the end of the year.

There are no regularly scheduled weekends.

Initial training and occasional team meetings may take place at our Cumming location. Candidates should be willing to travel between locations when necessary.
