This is an on-site position based out of our Des Moines, IA office.

What we’re looking for:

SHAZAM is looking for a Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a welcoming environment, and being responsible for a variety of tasks that support daily operations.

What you'll do:

Great, assist, and direct visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional and welcoming manner.
Manage front desk operations, including:
- Checking visitors in/out, verifying visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor logs
- Creating security identification badges
- Answering and routing phone calls and responding to inquiries professionally.
Support daily administrative and security-related activities and processes.
Monitory security camera feeds and report concerns when appropriate.
Participate in new hire orientation by creating identification badges and providing instruction on how to enter/exit the secure facility.
Provide administrative support to various departments, as needed, including:
- Managing test debit card administration
- Serving as a back-up to the facilities team by processing mail and maintaining office and breakroom supplies.

What you need:

Minimum one year office/reception experience.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer service or accounts receivable experience is helpful.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with interruptions
Ability to learn and use a visitor management system. Experience with Easy Lobby and Avigilon is helpful.
