Full Job Description

This role is on-site, Monday through Friday

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Discovery Clerk to join our legal team.

In this role, you will be integral to managing the discovery process for personal injury cases, ensuring that all relevant evidence and documentation are gathered, reviewed, and organized effectively. Your responsibilities will include preparing and managing discovery requests, reviewing case documents, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of discovery practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

Propounding and responding to discovery, and implementing attorney feedback
Drafting meet and confer letters, calendaring deadlines, noticing depositions, objecting to deposition notices
File management and tracking discovery responses
Assist with case intake by reviewing leases, legal forms, and correspondence for specific information and analyzing facts
Contact clients as needed to obtain missing case-related information
Perform additional administrative duties as needed by the department

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1+ year of experience in personal injury
·The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of discovery practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task and follow up with clients
Self-starter who can succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal oversight
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

Prior experience is required for this position.
