Full Job Description

Are you an organized, energetic professional who enjoys helping people while keeping a busy healthcare office running smoothly? We are seeking a Front Office Director to join our growing outpatient physical therapy team in the Durango area.

This is much more than a receptionist position. We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, creating exceptional patient experiences, and helping a team succeed.

What You’ll Do

Welcome patients and create an outstanding first impression
Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
Answer phones and respond to patient questions professionally
Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
Collect copays and manage daily financial transactions
Coordinate communication with physicians, patients, and insurance companies
Maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical record system
Assist with clinic operations, reporting, and administrative projects
Help keep the clinic organized, efficient, and running on time
Support the clinical team in delivering an exceptional patient experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Highly organized with great attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable learning new technology and software systems
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Professional appearance and demeanor
Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required
