Full Job Description

Summary of Work:

Establishes, directs, implements procedures, coordinates, and administers a plan for the Accounting Department, including bookkeeping and Human Resources. Responsible for all financial/accounting ledgers, transaction audits, reconciliations. Provides expertise to review, analyze, and interpret all financial and budgetary reports for management to ensure timely and effective decision making. Oversee all operational costs and perform other duties requested by the General Manager.

Work Schedule : 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Utilize Microsoft Office, accounting, and job costing software.
Develop, coordinate and review accounting procedures.
Supervise administration, accounting, and facilitate department meetings
Supervise Accounting Dept: A/R, A/P, Payroll, online banking, wire transfers, check printing and payroll tax payments, quarter tax payments, bank reconciliation, credit, job cost, journal entry, month end adjustment, financial statements, sales tax, and W-2s.
Coordinate purchasing office supply and office building maintenance repair work.
Policy development, employment law, employee relations and benefits administration.
New hire: determine qualifications, experience, workplace preferences and salary needs are congruent with the position and organization.
Review and administer project contracts, schedule of values, billing terms.
Manage benefits administration.
Coordinate employee training and continuing education program budgets.
Compliance with Federal and California and Regulations.
Participate, review and approve purchasing/procurement for all departments
Client coordination and customer service.

Education, Knowledge and Skills Required or Desirable :

Required: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Business Administration, Accounting Management from accredited college or six to eight years of related experience

Preferred: Masters in business and/or Human Resources

Speaks, Reads and Writes Chinese or Spanish Preferred

Minimum of 8 Years Administrative Experience

Knowledge in up-to-date State and Federal compliance laws and regulations.
Experience including employment law, employee relations, compensations and benefits administration
Able to present and/or facilitate in front of audience
Must be well organized, patient, good communication and courteous to clients
