JOIN THE JERSEY DOUGH TEAM!

Jersey Dough is looking for friendly, hardworking people to help us create an amazing neighborhood bagel and deli experience. From fresh bagels and breakfast sandwiches to deli favorites, catering, and great customer service, we're passionate about serving high-quality food with a smile.

Job Classification:

Kitchen Support

Requirements:

· Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills

· Ability to multitask with a smile in a fast-paced environment

· Reliable, punctual, dependable, and willing to help with different tasks

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Experience using the Toast POS system is preferred; training will be provided

· Ability to stand for extended periods, regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and bend, reach, push, or pull

· Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

· Strong attention to detail when preparing, packaging, and checking catering orders

· Previous restaurant, bagel shop, deli, or catering experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

· Prepare bagels, breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, catering platters, and other menu items

· Greet customers, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional service

· Prepare, package, label, and organize catering orders for pickup or delivery, ensuring each order is complete and ready on time

· Use the Toast POS system to enter orders, process payments, and manage in-store and catering transactions accurately

· Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the day

· Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace

· Follow all food safety and health department guidelines

· Assist with opening, closing, dishwashing, and general cleaning duties

· Work together with teammates to keep in-store service and catering orders running smoothly and on time
