Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our dynamic laboratory team. The MLS will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing specimens, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic results. This role plays a vital part in supporting clinical diagnoses, research initiatives, and patient care by utilizing advanced laboratory techniques and maintaining rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive laboratory experience, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in clinical testing environments.

Responsibilities

Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests including immunoassays, PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction), ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay), flow cytometry, and RNA extraction procedures with precision and adherence to protocols.
Manage specimen collection, processing, and preparation while ensuring proper labeling, storage, and documentation in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Perform blood banking procedures such as blood sampling, venipuncture, phlebotomy, and blood typing to support transfusion services.
Maintain accurate data management through detailed record keeping, data analysis skills, and interpretation of test results.
Operate and troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory equipment including centrifuges, analyzers, microscopes, and molecular diagnostic instruments.
Follow aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety standards are upheld.
Collaborate with clinical teams on specimen collection and physiology-related assessments while maintaining knowledge of anatomy and vital signs.
Support laboratory management activities including inventory control, quality assurance programs, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Contribute to research laboratories or clinical trials by executing specialized assays and experimental protocols.
Stay current with advancements in laboratory techniques, medical terminology, and hospital-based practices to continuously improve testing accuracy.

2+ Years Experience in MLS
ASCP
COVID Vaccine

Shift Timings: (Night) (12 hrs.)

Pay: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour
