Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! Your enthusiasm for culinary arts will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests while maintaining a fast-paced, organized environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety management within a vibrant restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in the assembly of menu items with precision and efficiency
Cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and safety standards in production
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
Support menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation to uphold food safety standards
Assist with catering events and special meal preparations as needed
Serve guests promptly and courteously when required, supporting overall food service operations

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
Strong knife skills with slicing technique expertise to ensure efficient food prep
Familiarity with safety standards in production and food handling practices
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety management
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues
Friendly, good hygiene, dependable, ability to work at a fast pace all needed!
