Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill Machinist(one opening on 1st shift and one on 2nd ) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up CNC milling machines to produce precision aerospace metal components according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality production, efficient machine operation, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about precision machining and manufacturing excellence to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring accurate production runs.
Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise parts.
Program CNC machines using G-code( desirable, not mandatory )M-code, CAM programming software
Conduct machine setup, calibration, and tooling changes to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and other measurement tools for quality control inspections.
Troubleshoot machining issues, and adjust programs or setups for continuous improvement.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols .

Skills

Proficiency in CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code;desirable but not mandatory
Strong knowledge of general blueprint reading skills.
Experience with CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming for efficient toolpath creation.
Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining tools, tooling setups, and metalworking processes.
Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately and apply GD&T standards for precision manufacturing.
Skilled in the use of measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction in machining operations.
Ability to perform machine setup on CNC mills with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine adjustments.
