We are partnering with Manufacturing Company who is hiring for a CNC Programmer / CNC Setup Technician.

Position Highlights

Title: CNC Programmer / CNC Setup Technician
Full Time: Direct Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift

Background Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Two-year Machine Technology degree, CNC certification, or equivalent technical training.
Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining, setup, and programming experience.
Strong ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience with tooling selection, feeds and speeds, precision measurement, and machining complex components.
Knowledge of geometric and trigonometric calculations used in CNC machining.
CAD experience and training on Makino, Okuma, or similar CNC equipment is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities

Perform CNC machine setup, programming, and optimization to produce precision machined components.
Develop, modify, and maintain CNC programs for production and new product launches.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product quality.
Select tooling, calculate feeds and speeds, and optimize machining processes.
Inspect finished parts and make machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Manage tooling inventories, documentation, backups, and CNC program revisions.
Train operators and support production teams with troubleshooting and process improvements.
Perform preventative maintenance activities and maintain accurate CMMS documentation.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and tooling performance.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while supporting company quality standards.
