Position Responsibilities

Provide individual & group in-person psychotherapy to older adults in senior living communities across Montgomery County, MD, in independent living, assisted living, subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare settings.
Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
Develop and implement evidence-informed treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain ethical and professional standards of practice.
Collaborate with the Capri Therapy team as appropriate.
Maintain an active Maryland clinical license and professional liability insurance.

Requirements/Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Maryland and/or Washington, D.C. independent clinical license (LCSW-C and/or LICSW, LCPC, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent).
Medicare enrollment preferred or willingness to become credentialed
Capri Therapy will assist throughout the credentialing process.
Excellent interpersonal and clinical skills.
Passion for working with older adults.
Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
Effective oral and written communication in English.
Basic proficiency with technology, including Simple Practice.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities.
Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices throughout the day within the communities.
Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous clinical experience in an independent living, assisted living, subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
History of treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
Addiction experience is a plus.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
