Your mission is simple:

Own the execution of every project from opportunity to completion while helping Hydro Source operate at the highest level every day.

What Winning Looks Like at Hydro Source

Own Every Project

You are responsible for every project after it becomes an opportunity.

This includes:

Preparing and sending customer quotes
Processing customer orders
Purchasing equipment from manufacturers
Tracking every project from quote → signed proposal → purchase order → manufacturing → shipping → delivery → completion
Monitoring production schedules and shipping timelines
Coordinating with manufacturers and vendors
Providing proactive updates to customers and the sales team
Resolving issues before they affect the customer
Ensuring projects stay on schedule

Our expectation is proactive communication.

A customer or salesperson should never have to ask:

“Where is my order?”
“Has it shipped?”
“What’s the status?”

You should already know the answer and have already communicated it.

Become the Operational Resource for the Sales Team

Support our outside sales team by becoming their go-to resource.

Responsibilities include:

Answer incoming sales calls
Research pumps, controls, lift stations, and wastewater equipment
Source products and solutions from manufacturers
Communicate pricing, availability, and lead times
Assist with technical product selection
Help customers and sales representatives solve problems quickly

Own Inventory Strategy

Inventory is more than counting shelves.

It is managing cash flow, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

Establish minimum and maximum inventory levels
Develop strategic reorder points
Forecast purchasing needs
Know what needs to be ordered—and when
Know when not to order
Maintain inventory accuracy in QuickBooks
Perform inventory audits
Identify slow-moving inventory
Reduce obsolete inventory
Monitor vendor pricing and lead times

At any given time you should know:

What inventory we have
What inventory is committed
What inventory needs to be ordered
What inventory has been sitting too long
Where we can save money through better purchasing

Own the Round Rock Office & Warehouse

Take ownership of our facility.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinate building repairs
Obtain multiple bids for repairs and improvements
Schedule landscaping, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and equipment vendors
Coordinate forklift maintenance and repairs
Help oversee company assets and equipment
Keep the warehouse organized, efficient, and operational

If something needs attention, you own getting it resolved.

Build Better Systems

Training & Development

Every Project & Operations Coordinator will complete Hydro Source’s sales, product, and operations training.
