Full Job Description

Are you tired of working weekends, crazy schedules, or inconsistent days as a Chef? Join our team and become a meat cutter. Set Schedules, no weekends, and the option between 1st shift which is Monday through Friday (out by 1pm latest on Fridays) or 2nd shift which is Monday through Thursday (10 hour days).

Job Overview:
Pritzlaff Wholesale Meats is seeking a reliable and team focused Meat Cutter to join our team in New Berlin, WI. This role involves accurately slicing and dicing premium meat per customer specifications with the end products being delivered to restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. Having pride in your work, attention to detail, precision, and a positive attitude shape the Pritzlaff team.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet daily production needs and quality meat cutting standards; follow daily cutting lists and complete work in allotted time

· Safely operate sharp commercial knives.

·Processing and portion cutting order by weight and size.

· Ensure timely and accurate cutting to ensure our customers receive the product timely.

Comply with and reinforce all food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management

· Communicate any issues, delays, or concerns with the foreman.

· Represent Pritzlaff Wholesale Meats with professionalism and integrity during all interactions.

Requirements:

· Experience previously portion cutting in a restaurant or butcher experience preferred.

· Knowledge of different cuts of meat.

· Saw skills are a plus.

· Basic math skills required.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Ability to lift and move heavy products, up to 50 lbs. and team lifts up to 100lbs.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and follow work order directions.

·Ability to read English is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
