Job Overview

High-volume, fast paced work. Previous hibachi/server experience preffered.

In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, and ensures every visit is exceptional. Your culinary knowledge and beverage expertise will help elevate the guest experience, whether serving classic cocktails or recommending wine pairings. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments with precision
Upsell menu items, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Experience

Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while providing excellent guest relations
Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Open to candidates with fine dining experience or those who have worked in upscale restaurant settings
