An exciting primary care opportunity is now available at Pravan Clinic in San Juan, PR. Our member’s community has grow in demand, so the facility is accepting new candidates.

We are seeking a joy-filled, healthy-spirited, intelligent, gifted and techy Primary Care Physician for our concierge medical clinic in “Ciudadela”, Santurce. This is a great opportunity for a deeply caring, dedicated, responsible, reliable, bilingual (Spanish & English) medical doctor, with a belief in holistic/preventative medicine and a passion for being a part of redefining health care in Puerto Rico.

Typical job duties include taking patient histories, performing or requesting diagnostic tests, making diagnoses, prescribing treatment and performing follow-up examinations, as well as educating patients in disease prevention and health maintenance. Additional duties include preparing medical records, clinical reports and correspondences.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

Physician (MD) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Must have an Active Medical License in Puerto Rico, NPI, Narcotic License
Have at least 3+ years experience
Fluent Bilingualism (Written and Verbal) is Required (English & Spanish)
Experienced with outpatient and inpatient care
Must maintain high standards of confidentiality
Computer Proficient and Technology Savvy, including mobile technology
Impeccable Interpersonal Communications (oral and written)
Great listening and Empathy skills
Exquisite Attention to Detail
Proficiency in medical data entry and experience with EHR’s
Availability to work flexible schedules and to occasionally be on-call
Stress management and collaboration skills

Primarily Responsible for:

Acute issue management and prevention of disease by performing physical exam, taking medical history, performing and interpreting diagnostic test,recommending and follow up treatment plan.
Provide assistance to patients via telemedicine app
Follow up MD’s on pending issues regarding patients
Carry out follow meetings with other MD’s and/or RN’s
Case discussions with medical team
Record auditing & f/up on pending issues on EHR
Review and complete medical notes in EHR
Coordinated Care with Specialist Network
Collaborate with on-call duties during some weekends
