Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and efficient order processing. Your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and eager to return. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits recommendations, to enhance guest experience
Serve food and drinks professionally, including cocktail preparation and beverage service, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately
Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly
Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously
Assist with food handling, proper sanitation procedures, and adherence to food safety regulations

Requirements

Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
Experience with cocktail making, wine knowledge, spirits handling, and beverage service is desirable
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing sales transactions
Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus
OpenTable experience or similar reservation system familiarity is beneficial
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
