Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of professional furniture upholstery experience and be skilled in cutting, sewing, and working with a variety of upholstery materials, including leather.

The Upholsterer will be responsible for upholstering and repairing furniture while maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Upholster and reupholster furniture according to specifications and quality standards.
Measure, cut, and prepare upholstery materials accurately.
Cut and sew a variety of fabrics and materials, including leather.
Operate a hand sewing machine and other upholstery tools and equipment.
Remove and replace existing upholstery as needed.
Inspect finished work to ensure proper fit, appearance, and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform other upholstery-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

3–5 years of professional upholstery experience required.
Previous furniture upholstery experience required.
Experience cutting and sewing upholstery materials.
Experience working with leather and other upholstery materials.
Experience using a hand sewing machine.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
Must have reliable attendance and punctuality.
Steel-toe shoes are required.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
