Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team until the Jorgenson's restaurant reopens. We are unsure of when Jogenson's will be opening again, but believe it will be late this year/early next year. There may be other openings in the hotel to explore afterwards for the right individual.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy a delightful breakfast experience. You will prepare and present food items, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and provide excellent customer service. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and food service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet or dining area according to established standards.
Ensure food items are fresh, well-presented, and replenished as needed throughout the breakfast service.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Provide exceptional guest services by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their breakfast needs.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines.
Assist with meal preparation and cooking as necessary.
Collaborate with hotel guests and management to ensure timely delivery of food items to guests.
Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and report any shortages to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively.
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in roles such as host/host, barista, or catering is beneficial.

Must be able to work 5:30am-11am

PAY: $16 p/hr with options for a raise.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
