Prefer automotive service advisor experience.

Basic understanding of vehicles, oil change, maintenace, brakes, electrical, tire installation and accessory installation.

Responsibilities

Customer Intake & Relations: Greet customers promptly and professionally, listen to vehicle descriptions or complaints, and accurately log symptoms into the database.

Technical Translation: Act as the liaison between clients and technicians.

Estimating & Approvals: Develop accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts, verify warranty or service contract coverage, and secure explicit customer approval before any work begins.

Sales & Maintenance Advisory: Educate customers on recommended routine maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.

Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with the shop dispatcher and technicians to manage the repair schedule, establish realistic completion times, and monitor job progress.

Proactive Communication: Update customers regularly via phone, email, or text regarding changes in service costs, repair status, or when the vehicle is ready for pickup.

Billing & Administrative Duties: Process finalized repair orders, handle financial transactions, explain invoices clearly, and manage alternative transportation (e.g., loaner cars, shuttles).

Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
