Thrive is a Black/Latinx woman-owned community-focused agency dedicated to nurturing a culture where everyone is empowered to show up as their full, authentic selves. We provide culturally relevant individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Our goal is to increase community access to high-quality, timely, consistent, and effective mental health treatment.

Thrive Therapeutic Services is seeking licensed clinicians to join our team in a flexible, part-time-to-full-time track role. Clinicians will begin in a part-time, hourly capacity, with a clearly defined pathway to transition into a full-time salaried position.

This role is designed for clinicians who value stability, growth, and the opportunity to build a full caseload with organizational support. In this position, you will help us continue to progress toward our agency's mission. That mission is to facilitate the healing of historically and systemically marginalized people who want and deserve an improved quality of life.

About the Licensed Psychotherapist Role…

This Therapist will join our team and do what they do best: facilitate culturally appropriate healing! Take a deep breath - we are not concerned with how well you recite graduate school textbooks; we are interested in how authentically you connect with your clients in a way that is meaningful and therapeutically relevant to them.

As a therapist here, you will provide collaborative and inclusive mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.

Basic Responsibilities:

Conduct culturally inclusive sessions and create individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with other treatment providers.
Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to assigned clients
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Manage and maintain a consistent weekly caseload
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and administrative staff
Participate in required meetings, supervision, and trainings
Adhere to all clinical, ethical, and organizational standards

Minimum Qualifications:

Clinically licensed and in good standing as an LMFT, PsyD, LPCC, or LCSW
Must be a licensed California resident
NPI Number, PAVE Enrollment, and CAQH Registration, Telehealth Certificate
Experience in providing therapy, conducting intakes, and developing treatment plans.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team-based environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and cultural competence.
Ability to hold Telehealth sessions remotely in a professionally appropriate, completely confidential, and quiet space free of distractions.

Position Structure

Phase 1: Part-Time (Hourly)

Clinicians are hired as part-time employees and compensated on an hourly basis for:
90791/90837 Client sessions: $65/hr
Admin Documentation: $20/hr
Admin Required meetings/trainings: $20/hr
Initial caseload is built based on referral volume and availability

Phase 2: Full-Time ($91,000 Starting Salary)

Transition to a full-time salaried role upon reaching 25 recurring 90791/90837 weekly sessions
Expected to maintain a minimum caseload of 25 client sessions per week (90791/90837)
Clinicians may be scheduled above this minimum based on client demand and organizational needs
Opportunities for bonuses available for session counts exceeding the minimum threshold
