What You'll Be Doing
Every technician begins by mastering the fundamentals before progressing into advanced detailing, restoration, and paint protection techniques.
Core Responsibilities
- Learn proper vacuuming techniques, surface cleaning, and the foundational steps of professional vehicle detailing.
- Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing, including hand washing, decontamination, waxing, polishing, deep vacuuming, steam cleaning, stain removal, shampoo extraction, and interior restoration.
- Apply protective products, ceramic coatings, and specialty treatments to preserve and enhance vehicle appearance.
- Learn proper masking techniques to protect trim, glass, and painted surfaces during polishing, paint correction, and coating applications.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections by:
- Speaking with customers to understand their concerns.
- Evaluating the overall condition of the vehicle.
- Identifying contamination, wear, damage, and problem areas.
- Learning to recommend additional detailing or restoration services that would benefit the customer.
Advanced Training & Career Development
As your experience grows, you'll receive hands-on training in advanced services including:
- Seat removal and reinstallation.
- Carpet lifting and floor mat extraction.
- Interior trim and panel removal.
- Deep cleaning
- Mold and moisture remediation procedures.
- Paint correction and machine polishing.
- Ceramic coating preparation and installation.
- Engine bay detailing.
- Wheel removal and deep wheel cleaning.
- Undercarriage cleaning, treatment, proofing & restoration.
- Specialty detailing and restoration services.
Shop & Vehicle Responsibilities
- Rack vehicles on lifts, remove wheels, and perform undercarriage and wheel well cleaning when required.
- Safely move customer vehicles throughout the shop (valid driver's license required).
- Travel to mobile detailing appointments when scheduled (valid driver's license required).
- Handle every customer vehicle with the highest level of care, professionalism, and respect.
- Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Shop Maintenance
A clean shop reflects the quality of our work. Every team member helps maintain a professional environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping detailing equipment clean and properly maintained.
- Organizing workstations and common areas.
- Sweeping and mopping shop floors.
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
- Emptying trash and maintaining a clean workspace throughout the day.
- Assisting with opening and closing shop duties as needed.
Customer Service
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Represent the company professionally in the shop and on mobile jobs.
- Communicate respectfully with customers and coworkers.
- Help create an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

- Able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day, including standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and working in confined spaces when necessary.
- Possesses a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

- $17.00 per hour during the initial training and probationary period.
90-Day Performance Increase
After your first 90 days, you’ll receive a performance review based on consistency, workmanship, attitude, and reliability.

Skill & Certification-Based Pay Growth (Earn More as You Level Up)
We believe your pay should reflect your skill level—not just your time on the job.
In addition to standard raises, technicians are eligible for a $1.00 per hour increase for each verified certification or approved skill standard recognized by Zeo’s Detailing.
This includes both:
- Industry certifications (third-party or manufacturer training)
- Documented skill mastery approved and signed off by Zeo’s Detailing management
There is no cap on advancement—your earning potential grows as your skill set expands.

Each approved certification or demonstrated mastery may qualify for a $1.00/hr increase, such as:

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a consistent weekly schedule.
Regular Hours
- Monday through Saturday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasionally, schedules may start earlier, end later, or include overtime depending on workload, weather, customer demand, or mobile detailing appointments.
Employees are expected to:
- Arrive 10–15 minutes before their scheduled shift and be ready to begin work promptly at 8:00 AM.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Notify management immediately if an emergency prevents them from reporting to work.
- Be flexible during busy seasons when additional hours may be available.
Uniform & Professional Standards
Employees are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.
Required attire includes:
- Non-slip, closed-toe shoes.
- Black or dark-colored pants or cargo shorts.
- Solid-colored T-shirt until company uniforms are issued.
- Clean, well-groomed appearance.
- Bring a change of clothes and deodorant each workday.
