Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Manager to lead the operational and administrative functions of a busy healthcare practice. This role is essential in ensuring seamless clinic operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive medical office experience, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management systems. As a pivotal member of our team, you will drive efficiency, foster a positive work environment, and uphold the highest standards of medical administrative support.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient management, staff supervision, and workflow optimization to ensure efficient service delivery.
Manage financial aspects such as accounts payable, supply inventory and ordering, and medical billing processes to maintain fiscal health of the practice.
Supervise healthcare staff including administrative personnel, and clinical support teams; facilitate training and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, OSHA standards, and state/federal health policies; implement necessary policies and procedures.
Utilize eClinicalWorks for accurate medical records management and patient data entry.
Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing patient inquiries efficiently and fostering a welcoming environment.
Oversee human resources functions including staffing schedules, hiring processes, compliance training, payroll, benefits and employee relations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with strong supervisory background.
Extensive knowledge of medical billing, coding (including ICD and CPT codes), and financial management experience.
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems. Highly desirable if proficient in eClinicalWorks; familiarity with Office management tools like Microsoft Office 365.
Deep understanding of healthcare regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards.
Prior experience in managing teams within clinical settings is highly desirable.
Strong managerial communication skills coupled with excellent customer service capabilities.
Ability to handle complex medical administrative support tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and health regulation policies is essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, oversee medical billing processes, and ensure compliance with healthcare laws.
Experience working with eClinicalWorks is preferred.
