Full Job Description

Children's Mental Health Therapist

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus

We are growing and seeking a compassionate and motivated Children’s Mental Health Therapist to join our team and work in our new outpatient facility-Angeline's Wing for Children's and Families. We know that the right person brings heart, curiosity, and a desire to grow—so whether you’re an experienced clinician or newer to the field, we will provide the training, supervision, and support you need to thrive. If you’re committed to helping children and families build resilience and hope, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, therapy and early intervention services to children and families.
Refer and coordinate services with our child and adolescent on-site psychiatrist for medication management services, as needed.
Provide supportive case management services to clients and their families.
Maintain positive relationships with and provide consultation to teachers and/or school staff, as appropriate.
Maintain clinical records in accordance with policy, as well as third-party payors & licensure requirements.
Provide support to other staff and function as a productive member of the team.

Experience:

LMSW or provisional mental health clinical license in the state of Iowa required. Independent licensure preferred.
Experience preferred-2+ years providing mental health services.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual preferred, not required.

37.5 hour work week.
4 weeks paid vacation from start date.

3% of salary put into 403B plan regardless of what employee puts in. Can put in up to an additional 3% more for a total of a 6% match.
