Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help deliver exceptional dining experiences. In this vital role, you will act as the bridge between the kitchen and guests, ensuring that food reaches tables promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, guest-focused atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back for more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation quality is maintained.
Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to support kitchen staff during busy service times.
Clear and reset tables quickly and professionally, maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining areas.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure order accuracy.
Support banquet service by delivering food to large groups or special events with precision and timeliness.
Buss tables and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold health and safety standards.
Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a positive attitude.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving, bussing, or food handling roles.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management.
Experience in banquet settings or hotel hospitality is a plus.
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial for understanding food presentation and timing.
