Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Chinese and English) Activities & Member Coordinator to join our adult day care community. In this role, you will be the heart of engaging programs designed to enrich members’ lives, foster social connections, and promote overall well-being. Your enthusiasm for creating meaningful activities, combined with your ability to communicate fluently in both languages, will help build a warm, inclusive environment where members feel valued and supported. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on seniors’ daily experiences through innovative program development and personalized engagement.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the center's morning activity schedule.
Lead Bingo, games, group discussions, basic computer instruction and other activities.
Collaborate with team members to develop engaging programs tailored to members’ needs, including memory care and dementia-friendly activities.
Plan, organize and coordinate members' birthday celebration, holiday events and field trips.
Manage the company's social media accounts
Track and purchase activity supplies.
Coordinate instructors, schedules and timesheets.
Assist with other reasonable member-service and operational needs.

Required Qualifications

Fluent in Chinese and English
Patient, respectful and comfortable working with older adults.
Confident speaking in front of groups and leading activities.
Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, Zoom, Microsoft Office and other electronic office equipment and internet platforms.
Organized, dependable, punctual and able to work independently.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 1:30 pm
