9 AM - THIS IS FOR AN INDEPEDENT PERSON. YOU WILL BE WORKING MOST SHIFTS BY YOURSELF. 9AM-9PM. TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY OFF

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Solo Chef/Cashier Operator. This unique position requires expertise in culinary arts along with the ability to manage cashier duties independently. As the sole operator during operating hours from 9 am to 9 pm, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality meals, as well as handling customer transactions and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Culinary Expertise:

Prepare and cook a diverse menu of dishes, ensuring high-quality and consistent taste.

Plan and execute daily specials to attract and retain customers.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

2. Cashier Duties:

Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.

Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering inquiries and offering menu recommendations.

Ensure cash drawer accuracy and follow proper cash-handling procedures.

3. Customer Interaction:

Interact with customers in a positive and professional manner.

Take customer orders, process payments, and deliver food in a timely manner.

Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and diplomatically.

4. Multi-Tasking:

Effectively balance cooking responsibilities with cashier duties.

Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service and maintain a smooth operation.

5. Compliance:

Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen.

Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.

Strong multitasking and time-management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
