Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team. This vital role supports our finance department by managing essential accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth financial operations. Responsibilities

Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
Manage invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable processes with precision and efficiency
Support accounts payable functions by verifying invoices and processing payments
Handle front desk duties including answering multi-line phone systems, greeting visitors, and managing office communication
Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents, receipts, and correspondence
Support calendar management and scheduling for finance team meetings or appointments
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and clarity

Experience

Proven clerical experience with strong office management skills
Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is highly preferred
Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and spreadsheets
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in data entry and proofreading tasks
Experience in customer service roles involving phone communication and front desk responsibilities
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
