Full Job Description

Job Title: Office & Sales Assistant (Construction Industry Required)Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Office & Sales Assistant to join our team. Experience in the construction industry is required for this position. This is a Part-Time, in-office role working morning hours several days per week, with potential to transition into a Full-Time position for the right candidate.

This role combines administrative support and sales coordination within our wood truss fabrication company. While background in construction is mandatory, specific wood truss experience is not required—we will provide specialized training for our product line. A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn our specific processes are essential.

Note: This role is strictly in-office at our location; remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general office and administrative support using your foundational construction knowledge to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist with new sales leads, follow-up communications, and project proposals for contractors and clients.
Help maintain and strengthen relationships with existing trade and construction customers.
Track leads, appointments, customer details, and project timelines.
Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate customer, sales, and project files.
Assist with scheduling meetings, deliveries, and job-site/project-related activities.
Coordinate effectively between office staff, production teams, contractors, and vendors.
Support invoicing, purchase orders, and other essential administrative paperwork.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain internal project records.

Qualifications:

Required: Prior experience working in the construction industry (general contracting, building materials, trade operations, or construction administration).
Not Required: Truss-specific experience is not required; we are happy to train you on our specific products.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Professional written and verbal communication skills tailored to construction clients and contractors.
Must be able to work on-site in the office during scheduled morning hours.
Reliable, professional, and punctual.
Basic computer proficiency (Email, Microsoft Office, Data Entry).
A positive attitude and willingness to support both office administration and sales growth.

Schedule & Location:

Part-time (Morning hours, several days per week)
Strictly On-site / In-office
Opportunity to transition to Full-Time in the future
