Housekeeper – Holiday Inn Express

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Holiday Inn Express is committed to delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. Our housekeeping team plays a key role in maintaining our brand’s high standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to provide a pleasant and safe environment. This role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and refresh guest rooms according to brand and hotel standards.
Change linens, make beds, replace towels, and restock amenities.
Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors.
Dust, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas.
Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and room status updates.
Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment.
Follow proper sanitation, safety, and cleaning protocols.
Provide friendly, courteous service to guests when encountered.
Ensure compliance with IHG brand cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout the shift.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
