Metz Culinary Management is growing, and we have openings for Rock Star Culinary and Hospitality Team Members who shares our passion for AMAZING Food and UNFORGETTABLE Service. We are seeking team members for full and part-time roles. This is a great opportunity for Culinary Grads! Metz Culinary Management offers competitive wages, benefits and DAILY PAY* option!

Our Cooks are in charge of prepping food and plating dishes according to Healthcare menu specifications. Cooks are assigned a specific place in the operation, such as the grill or vegetable prep station. Duties include preparing food and maintaining sanitation standards.

We are on the hunt for an experienced Cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications.

You will be responsible for setting up the station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Job Duties
-Utilize Safe food handling procedures

-Setting up and sanitizing work stations

- Following prep lists created by chefs.

- Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock to be used in the cooking process.

- Preparing complex dishes, such as entrees & roasts.

- Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.

- Assisting chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise.

- Distributing plates to wait staff to be served, cleaning plates for dish washing, and preparing take away packages for customers.

- Supervising food and cooling room temperatures.

- Accepting or rejecting ingredients from suppliers.

- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.

- Preparing drinks and cocktails according to the chef's specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
