Full Job Description

We are a busy and growing general & cosmetic dental office located in Yuba City, CA,. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as our Office Manager. This position will primarily consist of the management of staff, overseeing office protocols and monitoring practice metrics. This position is a working front office team member and as such, you must be comfortable presenting treatment plans, making financial arrangements and scheduling patients. You will be responsible for managing the overall office schedule and maintaining efficient flow throughout the day while maintaining overall office goals.

Key Skills:

Leadership: Able to set expectations, coach performance, and hold staff accountable for their position requirements.
Delegation: Directs others effectively, avoids “doing it all” themselves, and ensures team ownership of outcomes.
Communication: Provides clear direction, feedback, and recognition in a professional and motivating way.
Business Acumen: Understands practice metrics and teaches staff how their performance impacts results.
Training & Development: Builds systems for onboarding, ongoing education, and performance growth.
Problem-Solving: Anticipates issues, addresses them proactively, and guides staff to resolve challenges.

Prior dental office management and treatment presentation experience required. You should be comfortable presenting treatment plans and financial options to patients. Proficiency with Dentrix and excellent communication skills are a must, as well as a real love for interacting with people and providing exceptional care, whether with patients or staff.

This is a full-time (Mon-Thurs) position in a dynamic and exciting office. We have a fun, cohesive, and professional team that support each other, and we are looking for someone with similar values. We offer a great working environment, enhanced training and opportunity for growth.
