Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Residential Painting Sub Contractor and bring vibrant transformations to homes through expert craftsmanship! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services tailored to residential properties, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled painters who thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in their work. As a valued subcontractor, you will play a key role in revitalizing living spaces with precision, creativity, and professionalism.

Duties

Prepare residential surfaces through thorough cleaning, sanding, caulking, and surface repair to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply various coatings using hand tools, brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), and conventional spray equipment for interior and exterior surfaces
Perform structural painting tasks such as wall coatings, trim carpentry, stucco application, and restoration projects
Execute surface preparation techniques including plastering, sanding, priming, and the use of power tools to achieve smooth finishes
Use ladders safely and effectively for elevated work while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols including respiratory protection measures
Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal of paints and chemicals while following environmental safety standards
Install trim carpentry components as needed during renovation or remodeling projects

Experience

Proven experience in residential painting with a strong portfolio demonstrating craftsmanship across interior and exterior projects
Familiarity with construction site procedures, safety regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory masks
Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as plastering, caulking, sanding, and masonry finishing
Knowledge of various painting methods including brush painting, roller application, spray techniques (airless spray systems), and coating application processes
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding or ladders safely at heights during structural or exterior painting tasks
Previous experience in painting interior cabinets

Must have the following requirements met before being considered for this position:

4. An unmarked registered van or truck

5. Own tools & equipment

6 Reside on Long Island Nassau/Suffolk Counties

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
