Full Job Description

The responsibilities of the General Manager include, but are not limited to the following:

*******MUST HAVE at least 10 years Automotive Manufacturing experience!*******

Responsible for running day-to-day operations and guiding and implementing business strategy.
Guide and maintain control of all Programs to ensure customer requirements are delivered on time, within quality and budgeted costs requirements to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
Oversee large projects and maintain all performance deliverables.
Develop manufacturing infrastructure, resources, and people to ensure re-shoring of programs and growth of local manufacturing.
Guide negotiations, contract review, and program cost management to achieve desired profit margins while minimizing the individual risk profile of each customer.
Ensure that programs and sourcing support business strategy, achieving growth objectives.
Improve internal processes for better productivity, drive standardization of processes.
Oversee hiring and planned development of staff.
Develop Marketing plan with Sales and Management team to multiply business opportunities at existing and new customers, and achieve Sales and New Business targets.
Drive decision-making process to resolve issues in a timely manner
Maintain open and positive communications internally and with our customers and suppliers.
Ensure coordination of all activities, management, customers, our plants and suppliers as required
Manage customer interface and relationship in a positive manner to ensure open discussion with customers and/or suppliers is always available to achieve desired results.
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System and help Quality Manager achieve required objectives.
Improve current production and administrative operations, processes, and instill a continuous improvement attitude that drives itself from within and at all levels.
Develop a culture of continuous improvement, openness, and create a great place to work for all.
Maintain regular updates and tracking of key metrics (hard and soft)
Report to CEO and help develop business strategy
