Full Job Description

Overhead Door Co of Central Jersey is hiring parts and inventory specialist for our store on Route 202.

*** Previous Experience Not Required. ***

The inventory specialist will work in our store, purchasing materials and supplies for door installations, parts for service job and inventory; answering customer questions regarding parts; receiving and maintaining inventory levels.

Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred, not required
- Valid Driver's License to drive company vehicle
- Must have personal reliable transportation to Branchburg, NJ every morning

A successful Inventory Specialist will:
- Learn a lot of inventory components and parts quickly.
- Take direction from the general manager
- Keep the warehouse the clean and orderly
- Drive forklift lifting pallets and loads
- Ensure inventories are stocked
- Create and Receive purchase orders in our computer system.
- Be courteous to our customers
- Fill out necessary details for interoffice forms
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Aptitude:
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives.
- Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees.
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
- Maturity of judgment and behavior.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time.

Physical Requirements:
- Clean drug tests
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull
- Frequently lift up to 80 pounds
